The solution treatment is intended to improve the mechanical properties, corrosion resistance, etc. of the material by dissolving alloying elements in the matrix. Recently, due to customer demand, the company on the 7.5m melon flap head as a whole for solid solution treatment.

The large size of the head presents technical challenges such as heating uniformity control, cooling rate control, and equipment requirements. The weight of the head monomer is 25 tons, and the total weight including the tooling is 30 tons. The large diameter and heavy weight also increase the difficulty of lifting.

For this, Jiuzhou head is equipped with special tooling, special pool, 8.5m * 8.5m * 3.8m trolley type high temperature gas heat treatment furnace and professional working team, and all kinds of problems are finally solved.
